Banana and
Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

A wonderfully easy no bake cold pie, perfect on those hot summer days. This peanut butter pie with the added touch of chocolate flavor from Nutella with bananas slices makes this one of my granddaughters favorite pies.

8 ounces
1 cup
1 small container
1 – 8 ounce package
1 cup
4 tablespoons
1 - 14 ounce can
1 teaspoons
1/4 – 1/2 cup
4 ounces
1 teaspoon
1/4 cup
1 large
chocolate cookies
creamy peanut butter
cool whip
cream cheese, softened
confectioner's sugar
butter, melted
sweetened condensed milk
vanilla
chopped peanuts
melted dark chocolate
lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Nutella
banana

Recipe Preparation: 10 minutes
Pan Type: springform pan


Add the cookies to the bowl of a food processor and pulse into fine crumbs. Combine melted butter and cookie crumbs in a small bowl and stir with a fork to mix well. Press mixture into the bottom and 1-inch up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan.

Spread the 1/4 of a cup of Nutella over the chocolate crumb crust, add a layer of chopped peanuts. Place pan in the refrigerator to cool while you prepare the filling.

Place the cream cheese and peanut butter in a deep bowl. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Reduce speed to low and gradually beat in the confectioner's sugar. Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and lemon juice. Increase speed to medium and beat until all the ingredients are combined and peanut butter filling is smooth.

Fold the cool whip into the filling mixture.

Slice the bananas and arrange over the prepared crust. Pour the filling over the banana slices. Drizzle melted chocolate on top, then refrigerate for three hours or overnight before serving.
Banana and peanut butter pie can be slightly frozen before serving (holds together better on a warm day).
