Chocolate Mocha Trifle Recipe

1 box
1/4 cup
1/3 cup
2 large
1 3/4 cups
2 – 3.4 ounce
1/4 cup
1 1/2 – 2 teaspoons
1 – 8 ounce container
Betty Crocker Family Size Brownie Mix
vegetable oil
cold milk
vanilla pudding mix, instant
warm water
espresso powder, instant
Cool Whip, thawed
Heath Bars (1.5 ounces each)
nonstick pan spray

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 25 to 30 minutes
Pan Type: 9" x 13" baking pan

Chocolate Mocha Trifle Directions

Preheat Oven. Spray pan with nonstick pan spray.

In a large bowl combine the brownie mix, water, oil and eggs. Beat with a wooden spoon until well blended.
Spoon brownie mix into pan and spread out evenly.
Bake for the allotted time or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove from oven and place on wire rack to cool completely.

Pudding Mix
In a large bowl combine the pudding mix and milk.
Use a wire whisk to beat mix for about 2 minutes or until mixture thickens.
Heat water in microwave until warm and add espresso powder and stir until dissolved.
Add dissolved espresso mix to pudding mixture and stir gently to blend.
Fold in the Cool Whip.

Cut brownies into small cubes.
Place candy bars in food processor and chop coarsely.
Place 1/3 of the brownie cubes in bottom of glass bowl.
Top the brownies with 1/3 of the pudding mixture and 1/3 of the chopped heath bars.
Repeat layers two more times.
Place in refrigerator and chill 60 minutes before serving after your favorite meal.
