Coffee Cream Fluff Recipe

2 1/2 cups
1/3 cup
2 teaspoons
1/3 cup
16 whole
heavy whipping cream
sugar
espresso powder, instant
espresso beans, chocolate covered, crushed
chocolate covered espresso beans

 


Place mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 5 minutes before beating the whipping cream.
Place whipping cream in the chilled bow.
Add the sugar and espresso powder.
Beat on high until stiff peaks form.
Cover and place in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Place 1/3 cup of espresso beans in food processor or blender and crush the beans.
Fold crushed beans into cream mixture and scoop the cream mixture into chilled bowls and serve as a favorite dessert.
Place two whole beans on each serving to garnish.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
