Chocolate Bread Pudding Recipe

2 squares
3/4 cup
4 cups
1/2 teaspoon
2 large
2 cups
1/2 teaspoon
unsweetened chocolate
sugar
milk
salt
eggs
dry bread crumbs
vanilla

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Pan Type: 8" x 8" baking dish


Chocolate Bread Pudding Directions

Preheat your oven. Spray pan with non stick pan spray.

Melt the chocolate in top of double boiler.
Add the milk, sugar, salt and bread crumbs, stir well.
Beat the eggs until fluffy, add eggs to the hot mixture, quickly beat with wire whisk.
Add the vanilla and mix well.
Pour mixture into pan and bake for allotted time or until firm in the center.
Serve lukewarm with your favorite topping.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt.
