Pink Cloud Cookies Recipe

1 1/2 cups
3/4 cup
1/2 cup
1/2 cup
2 cups
2 envelopes
1/2 cup
1 1/2 teaspoons
1/2 cup
3 drops
1/2 – 3/4 cup
Knox unflavored gelatin
cold water
chopped nuts
red food coloring

Oven Temp: 275°
Recipe Cooking Time: 25 minutes
Pan Type: 9" x 13" pan

Pink Cloud Cookies Directions

Preheat your oven.

Mix the flour, softened butter and first amount of sugar in a large bowl.
Press into the bottom of pan, bake in preheated oven.
Mix second amount of sugar and 1/2 cup water, boil for 2 minutes, pour into large mixing bowl.
Dissolve the Knox gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water.
After dissolved add to syrup mixture and beat with electric mixer for 12 minutes.
Add vanilla, food coloring and nuts.
Pour over the baked crust and sprinkle coconut over top.
Cool before cutting into bars.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
