Honeysnap Recipe

1 1/2 cups
2 cups
2 large
2 teaspoons
1/2 cup
4 cups
2 teaspoons
1 tablespoon
1/2 cup

shortening
granulated sugar
eggs
vanilla
honey
all purpose flour
baking soda
cinnamon
granulated sugar

Oven Temp: 375°
Recipe Cooking Time: 10 to 12 minutes
Pan Type: cookie sheet

Honeysnap Directions

Preheat Oven.

In a large mixing bowl combine the shortening and first amount of sugar, then beat until creamy.
Add the eggs, vanilla, honey, flour, baking soda and cinnamon and beat until all dry ingredients are moistened.
Roll into honeysnap balls about the size of a walnut.
Dip honeysnaps into second amount of sugar and place 2 inches apart onto a pan.
Bake your honeysnap goodies until lightly browned.

Recipe Yields: about 5 dozen
