Grams Raisin Cookies Recipe

2 large
1 cup
1/2 cup
1/4 cup
1 tablespoon
3 cups
1 1/4 teaspoons
1 teaspoon
2 3/4 teaspoons
1 cup
1 cup
eggs
sugar
shortening
milk
vanilla
all purpose flour
baking soda
salt
cream of tarter
raisins
chopped nuts, optional
nonstick pan spray

Oven Temp: 375 °
Recipe Cooking Time: 10 to 12 minutes
Pan Type: cookie sheet


Grams Raisin Cookies Directions

Preheat your oven. Spray cookie sheets with pan spray.

In a large mixing bowl combine the eggs and sugar.
Beat until fluffy.
Add the shortening and mix well.
Stir in the milk and vanilla until well blended.
Add the flour, baking soda, salt and cream of tarter and beat well.
Stir in the raisins and nuts if desired.
Drop cookies by teaspoon.
Bake Grams raisin cookies until lightly brown.
Serve raisin cookies along with your favorite drink.
