Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

1 teaspoon
1 – 12 ounce bag
1 cup

butter
granulated sugar
brown sugar, packed firm
eggs
vanilla
quick oats (oatmeal)
all purpose flour
salt
baking powder
baking soda
semi-sweet chocolate chips
walnuts, chopped fine

Oven Temp: 400°
Recipe Cooking Time: 8 to 9 minutes
Pan Type: cookie sheet

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Directions

Preheat your oven.

In a large bowl cream together; the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla, mix well.
Add the oats, flour, salt, baking powder and soda, mix well. Add the chocolate chips and walnuts, stir.
Drop chocolate chip oatmeal cookie dough by tablespoon onto greased pan.
Bake chocolate chip cookies until golden brown.
Cool slightly before removing cookies to wire racks.

Do not over bake.
Chocolate chip cookies will be soft when you take them from the oven.
Let cookies cool and serve.

Note: Who likes a good chocolate chip cookie? Duh, everyone like chocolate chip cookies.
