Biscotti Recipe

1 cup
1 cup
3 whole
3
3 cups
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon

1 cup		 butter
granulated sugar
eggs
egg yolks
all purpose flour
baking powder
almonds, blanched, toasted,
chopped
anise seeds, crushed

Oven Temp: 325°
Recipe Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Pan Type: cookie sheet


Biscotti Directions

Preheat your oven.

In a large mixing bowl beat the butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add the eggs and beat until fluffy.
Add the flour, baking powder, anise seed and chopped nuts and mix until well blended.
Roll biscotti dough into rolls about 2 1/2 – 3 inches long.
Place on cookie sheet.
Bake biscotti for the allotted time.
Remove from the oven and cut biscotti into 1/2" slices and lay on sides.
Return to oven and bake until brown, takes about 3 minutes.
