Potato Casserole Recipe

2 pounds
1 stick
1 medium
1 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
1 can
2 cups
2 cups
1/2 cup
6 slices
2 tablespoons
frozen hash brown potatoes
butter, melted
onion, chopped
salt
pepper
cream of chicken soup
dairy sour cream
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
parmesan cheese, grated
bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled
chopped chives

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Pan Type: 9" x 13" baking pan


Scrumptious Potato Casserole Directions

Preheat your oven.

Thaw potatoes completely before preparing.
In a large mixing bowl combine the thawed potatoes, melted butter, chopped onion, salt, pepper, chicken soup, dairy sour cream and cheddar cheese.
Mix all together well. Pour into pan.
Bake in preheated oven for the allotted time. Remove form oven and top with the grated parmesan cheese, crumbled bacon and chives.
Let set 5 – 10 minutes or until cheese melts.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
