Baked Rice & Chicken Dinner Recipe

1 large
1 clove
1 can
1 cup
3 cups
8 ounces
2 – 12 ounce cans

1/2 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
butter
onion, chopped
garlic, minced
mushroom soup
milk
cooked rice
Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
chunk chicken, un drained
eggs, slightly beaten
parsley flakes
salt
pepper

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Pan Type: 9 x 13" baking pan


Rice and Chicken Dinner Directions

Preheat your oven.

Melt butter in a small skillet. Sauté the onions and garlic in skillet under tender. Add soup and milk stir until smooth. Pour into baking pan.

Add the cooked rice, shredded cheese, un drained chicken, slightly beaten eggs, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well.

Bake in hot oven for the allotted time.

Recipe Serves: about 6

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
