Sausage Brunch Casserole Recipe

2 pounds
1/2 cup
3 cups
1 1/2 cups
1/8 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
6 large
1 cup		 bulk pork sausage
onion, chopped
milk
biscuit mix
pepper
salt
eggs
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Oven Temp: 400°
Recipe Cooking Time: 35 – 40 minutes
Pan Type: 9 x 13" baking pan


Sausage Brunch Casserole Directions

Preheat your oven.

In a large skillet brown the meat and onions until meat is no longer pink in the middle. Drain off excess fat and spread out evenly in bottom of pan.

In a large mixing bowl combine the milk, biscuit mix,salt, pepper and eggs. Beat with electric mixer until well blended. Pour egg mixture over sausage.

Top with shredded cheese and bake for the allotted time.

Remove from oven and let set 5 minutes before serving.

Recipe Note: Although this is a great sausage dish served at lunch, it is also good anytime.
