Ham Swiss Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

3 tablespoons
1/4 cup
1/4 cup
1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
2 cups
4 ounces
3 cups
8 ounces
1/4 cup
onion, chopped
Swiss cheese, shredded
potatoes, sliced thin
ham, diced
chives, chopped

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 90 minutes
Pan Type: 2 quart casserole dish

Ham Swiss Scalloped Potatoes Directions

Preheat your oven.

Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the onions and sauté until onions are tender. Add the flour, salt and pepper stir to make a paste. Slowly add the milk. Cook over medium heat until mixture starts to thicken. Add the ham and the cheese. Mix well.

Layer sliced potatoes in casserole dish. Pour cheese sauce over potatoes. Cover and bake.

Remove cover after 1 hour and continue baking. Garnish with chives.

Recipe Serves: 4 to 6
