The Ranch Casserole Recipe

1 pound
1 1/2 cups
1/2 teaspoons
1 package
2 tablespoons
1/4 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1 large
4 medium
4 medium
1 cup
extra lean ground beef
water
salt
brown gravy mix
tomato paste
ground black pepper
marjoram
onion, chopped
carrots, sliced 1/4“ thick
potatoes, sliced 1/4” thick
cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Pan Type: skillet


Ranch Casserole Directions

In a large skillet brown the meat until no longer pink.

Drain off excess fat. Add water, gravy package, salt, tomato paste, ground black pepper and marjoram. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and cook until mixture is thickened.

Layer on top of the meat mixture the chopped onions, sliced carrots and sliced potatoes. Cover and cook for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Sprinkle shredded cheese on before serving.

Recipe Serves: 4 to 6
