Double Cheese Casserole Recipe

1 – 16 ounce package
2 pounds
1/2 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
1 – 16 ounce can
1 – 16 ounce container
1 – 8 ounce package
2 cups
1 bunch
1 small
2 cloves
noodles
lean ground beef
salt
ground black pepper
tomato sauce
cottage cheese
cream cheese, softened
sour cream
green onion, tops and all, chopped
green bell pepper, chopped
garlic, minced

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Pan Type: 9 x 13" baking pan


Double Cheese Casserole Directions

Preheat your oven.

Cook the noodles according to the package directions. Drain well.

In a large skillet brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and add the tomato sauce, salt and pepper and mix well. Set aside.

In a large bowl combine the cottage cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, chopped onions, chopped green pepper and minced garlic. Mix well.

Place 1/2 of the cooked noodles in bottom of pan. Top with all of the cheese mixture. Top with remaining noodles and cover the noodles with the ground beef mixture. Bake in hot oven for the allotted time.

Recipe Serves: 8 to 10
