Swiss and Bacon Breakfast
Sandwich Recipe

4 large
1 clove
1/2 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon
1/4 cup
2 tablespoon
8 crisp cooked
4 slices
4
2 tablespoons
eggs
garlic, minced
salt
pepper
green onions, chopped
butter
bacon slices, crumbled
Swiss cheese
English muffins, toasted
butter

Recipe Pan Type: skillet


Bacon Sandwich Directions

Beat the eggs, salt, pepper and garlic together. Stir in the chopped onions and bacon.

Heat the butter in a large skillet.

Pour egg mixture into the skillet. The egg mixture will cover the pan bottom. Cook as if you are cooking a pancake, flip and cook the other side. Cut into 4’s and top with a slice of Swiss cheese.

Slice, toast and butter the muffins. Top each with a section of swiss and bacon.

Recipe Yields: 4 sandwiches

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
