Bacon and Egg Sandwich Recipe

1 – 2 tablespoons

butter
eggs
bacon, fried crisp
bread

salt & pepper to taste

Recipe Pan Type: 8" skillet


Bacon and Egg Sandwich Directions

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Fry the eggs until the egg yolks are set.

Prepare 2 slices of sandwich bread with butter and any condiments you prefer. Layer your bread with 2 slices of bacon and 1 egg. Top your bacon and egg sandwich with another slice of bread. Serve any extra bacon along with bacon and egg sandwich.

Recipe Serves: 2 sandwiches

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt.
