Stuffed French Toast Recipe

8 slices
2 – 8 ounce packages
1 dozen
2 cups
1/2 cup

cream cheese
strawberry syrup

strawberry jam

Oven Temp:375°
Recipe Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Pan Type: 2 1/2 quart casserole dish

French Toast Directions

Preheat your oven.

Butter a casserole dish and set aside.

Cut the bread into cubes and put one half into buttered casserole dish.
Cut the cream cheese into cubes and layer over the bread.
Layer the remaining bread over cream cheese.
Mix the milk with the strawberry syrup and pour over bread and cheese.
Cover stuffed french toast recipe with saran wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Remove french toast recipe from the refrigerator and set at room temperature for 15 minutes before placing into preheated oven.
Bake french toast for the allotted time or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Let french toast set for 10 minutes before cutting.
Serve stuffed french toast with butter and strawberry jam.
