Double Good Granola Recipe

rolled oats, regular
raw sesame seeds
sunflower seeds
nonfat dry milk
wheat germ
raisins
Craisins
unsweetened coconut
corn oil
honey

Oven Temp: 300°
Recipe Cooking Time: 45 – 60 minutes
Pan Type: baking sheet


Good Granola Recipe Directions

Preheat your oven.

In a large bowl combine the honey and oil.

In a separate bowl combine the oats, dry milk, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, wheat germ, raisins, Craisins and coconut. Mix up the double good granola well.

Pour liquid mixture over the top of dry mixture, mix granola well to coat. Turn out good granola onto a cookie sheet, then press down with hands.
Bake good granola till done.
Stir occasionally and turn granola twice during baking time.

Remove double good granola from oven and cool completely before storing. Crumble the granola and store into airtight containers.
Good granola can be served with milk, yogurt or eaten plain.

Recipe Yields: 26 cups

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
