Good Potato Patty Bake Recipe

1 pound
3 tablespoons
1 cup
6 large
1/8 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
2 1/2 cups
ham, cubed
potato patties, frozen
Swiss cheese, shredded
good eggs
onion powder
good milk

nonstick pan spray

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 45 – 50 minutes
Pan Type: 2 quart casserole dish

Potato Patty Directions

Preheat your oven and spray the casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Layer cubed ham in the bottom of dish.
Heat butter in skillet, then fry potatoes in butter until golden brown.
Drain cooked potato on paper towels.
Arrange potatoes on top of ham cubes, then top with shredded cheese.
In a medium mixing bowl combine the good eggs, pepper, salt, onion powder and good milk, beat with a wire whip until well beaten.
Pour eggs mixture over the top of cheese and potatoes.

Bake good potato patty until egg sets up. When done, let this good egg and potato patty sit and cool for 5 minutes.

Recipe Serves: about 6

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
