Speedy Biscuits Recipe

3 cups
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
2 cups
flour
sugar
baking powder
salt
heavy whipping cream
nonstick pan spray

Oven Temp: 375°
Recipe Cooking Time: 17 – 20 minutes
Pan Type: baking sheet


Biscuits Directions

Preheat Oven.

Spray cookie sheet for biscuits and set aside. In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir well to blend. Add the whipping cream and stir with fork just until all dry ingredients are moistened. Spray biscuits cooking sheets with nonstick pan spray. Drop speedy biscuits by well rounded tablespoon or use an ice cream scoop. Bake biscuits recipe in hot oven for the allotted time or until lightly browned.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
