Round 2 Cheese Bread Recipe

2 tablespoons
4 1/2 – 5 1/2 cups
3 tablespoons
2 teaspoons
1 large
1 cup
1/2 cup
milk
water
butter
flour
sugar
salt
egg
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Swiss cheese, shredded
nonstick pan spray

Oven Temp: 375°
Recipe Cooking Time: 40 – 50 minutes
Pan Type: 2 – 9 x 5" loaf pans


Cheese Bread Directions

Preheat Oven.

In a small saucepan combine the milk, water and butter, heat until warm (120°). In a large mixing bowl combine 2 cups of the flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Slowly add the warm milk mixture while beating with an electric mixer until well blended. Add the egg and beat for 2 minutes. Add another cup of the flour and the cheese, next beat well. Use a spoon to stir in enough flour until cheese bread batter is stiff. Cover and let round 2 cheese bread rise in warm place. Cheese bread will doubled in bulk. Stir down. Spray pan with nonstick spray. Pour cheese bread batter into your prepared pans. Cover and let bread rise for 30 minutes. Bake the cheese bread in hot oven for the allotted time or until golden brown.

Recipe Serves: 20 – 24
