Lemon Poppy Seed Bread Recipe

1/4 cup

lemon cake mix
instant lemon pudding
poppy seeds
slivered almonds

Oven Temp: 350º
Recipe Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Pan Type: 2 bread loaf pans

Lemon Poppy Seed Directions

Preheat oven and grease or spray bread loaf pans.

Mix all ingredients together and beat lemon poppy seed batter on high speed for about 4 minutes. Pour evenly into prepared bread pans and then spread slivered almonds over the top of each loaf before baking.
Cool lemon poppy seed bread on wire racks.

This yummy recipe is easy to make, keeps well and is enjoyed by all.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat.
