bananas, fresh, not over ripe
eggs well beaten
shortening
granulated sugar
all purpose flour
baking soda
salt
chopped walnuts

Oven Temp: 300º
Recipe Cooking Time: 75 minutes
Pan Type: 9 x 5 x 3" bread loaf pan


Banana Bread Directions

Preheat the oven.

Spray the bread loaf pan with cooking spray. Beat bananas until they are liquid, then add the eggs. In separate bowl cream the shortening and the sugar until fluffy. Mix with the banana mixture. Add the remaining recipe ingredients and mix well. Pour best banana bread batter into prepared pans. Makes two banana bread loaves.
