Grandpa Pancakes Recipe

2 large
1/4 cup
2 2/3 cups
3 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
2 1/2 cups
1 teaspoon
3/4 teaspoon
eggs
sugar
buttermilk
oil
vanilla
all purpose flour
salt
baking soda
oil for cooking

Temperature: medium
Recipe Cooking Time: 4 – 6 minutes
Pan Type: 12" skillet



Pancakes Directions

Preheat the pan for pancakes.

In a large mixing bowl beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy. Stir in the buttermilk, oil and vanilla. Add the flour, salt and baking soda. Mix grandpa pancake batter well. Heat oil in the skillet and cook pancakes until golden brown on the bottom and bubbles appear on top, grandpa says it take about 2 - 3 minutes. Turn and cook the second side until light golden brown, grandpa says about 2 – 3 minutes. Serve these good grandpa pancakes with butter and syrup.

Recipe Yields: about 15 pancakes
