unprocessed bran
boiling water
brown sugar
granulated sugar
vegetable oil
eggs
buttermilk
flour
wheat flour
baking soda
salt
bran flakes cereal
Craisins
chopped nuts
canned pumpkin
pumpkin pie spice
vanilla

Oven Temp: 375º
Recipe Cooking Time: 30 – 35 minutes
Pan Type: muffins Pan


Bran Muffins Directions

Preheat your oven. Grease and flour pans.

Put the unprocessed bran in a bowl and cover with one cup of boiling water, then set aside while preparing other recipe ingredients.
In a separate large mixing bowl add the oil, eggs, pumpkin, vanilla and sugars, mix well.
Slowly stir in the milk.
Add the flour, salt, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, blending well.
Add the unprocessed bran, bran flakes, Craisins and nuts.
Mix famous bran muffins batter and pour into prepared pans. Bake up your bran muffins.

Recipe Servings: 15 large or 24 regular size muffins per batch.
