Cheese Cornbread Recipe

Cheese Cornbread on a Plate

2 packages
1 – 16 ounce can
2 large
1/4 cup
1/2 cup
1 tsp.
1 cup
1 small jar
(Jiffy) Corn Muffin Mix
creamed corn
vegetable oil
quick oats
lemon juice
shredded cheddar cheese
diced pimentos (optional)

Oven Temp: 380°
Recipe Cooking Time: 20 to 30 minutes
Pan Type: 9" x 13" baking pan

Cheese Cornbread Directions

Preheat your oven.

In a large mixing bowl beat the eggs, next add in the corn muffin mix, creamed corn, oil, quick oats, lemon juice, cheddar cheese and pimentos.
Mix up the entire cheese cornbread recipe.
Pour cheese cornbread batter into prepared pan. Fill baking pan 1/2 full. Bake cornbread for about 25 minutes. Bake until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cheese cornbread cool before you try to remove and cut.
