Minnesota Coffee Cake Recipe

1 1/2 cups

2 teaspoons
1 cup
3 cups
1 tablespoon
1 cup
2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
2 tablespoons
1/2 cup
butter, softened
granulated sugar
all purpose flour
baking powder
brown sugar, packed
chopped fine

nonstick pan spray

Oven Temp: 350°
Recipe Cooking Time: 40 – 45 minutes
Pan Type: 9 x 13" baking cake pan

Minnesota Coffee Cake Directions

Preheat your oven, spray pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl beat the butter and sugar until fluffy, then add in the eggs and vanilla, beat well.
Stir in the milk.
Add the flour and baking powder, mix well. At this point the coffee cake batter will be thick.
Spoon ½ of the batter into a prepared pan.
In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, flour, butter and chopped nuts.
Mix minnesota coffee cake batter well and sprinkle with ½ of brown sugar mix.
Repeat layers.
Bake your Minnesota coffee cake until a toothpick inserted to the middle comes out clean.

Recipe Serves: 12 to 15
