Sweet and Sour Polish Sausage Directions

Cut polish sausage into 1” chunks.
In a large saucepan combine the sugar, paprika, green pepper, chopped onion, vinegar and first amount of water.
Bring sweet and sour mixture to a boil over medium heat.

In a small bowl mix the cornstarch with second amount of water.
Add cornstarch mixture to sugar mixture.
Cook over medium heat until sweet and sour mixture thickens.
Add cut polish sausage and pineapple tidbits.
Heat thoroughly.

Recipe Note: May be served on its own as an appetizer. Serve sweet and sour polish sausage over rice for a main dish.
