Mexican Chip Dip Recipe

9 Layer Chip Dip

1 pound
1 – 32 ounce can
1 package
2 – 4 ounce cans
1 bunch
2 cups
2 cups
2 cups
2 cups
8 ounces
lean ground beef
refried beans
taco seasoning
black olives, sliced & drained
green onions, sliced drained
fresh tomatoes, chopped
prepared guacamole
dairy sour cream
cheddar cheese, shredded

tortilla strips or chips

Recipe Pan Type: 9 x 13" pan

Mexican Dip Recipe Directions

In a skillet brown the beef until it is no longer pink.
Drain well.
Stir in the mexican taco seasoning until well blended.
Add the beans and mix well.
Spread beef mixture into bottom of pan.
On top of meat mixture layer the remaining ingredients in the following order: the olives, onions, tomatoes, guacamole, salsa, sour cream and cheddar cheese.
Along with your favorite chips, serve this mexican dip recipe.

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup.
