Guacamole Dip Recipe

1 – 8 ounce package

1/4 cup
1 large
1 large
1 teaspoon
1 or 2 cloves
cream cheese, softened
ripe avocado’s, mashed
salsa
tomato, diced
onion, chopped
lemon juice
garlic, minced

Recipe Container ~ medium bowl


Guacamole Dip Directions

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until creamy.
Add the mashed avocados and mix them up well.
Stir in the salsa, diced tomato, chopped onion, lemon juice and minced garlic.
Refrigerate this yummy guacamole dip recipe. Be sure to use an airtight container until ready to serve.

Note: If left exposed to air, guacamole dip will turn color fast.

Serve guacamole dip along with your favorite tortilla chips.

Recipe Serves: 6 to 10

Substitute, substitute, substitute. Recipes were made to be messed with. Use alternative ingredients to make your recipes healthier. Cook with broth (low-sodium vegetable, low-fat chicken or beef) instead of with oils. Use vinaigrettes or citrus-juice-based dressings instead of creamy ones, which are often full of saturated fat. Try olive oil, skim milk, or yogurt instead of butter or cream. Re-work dessert recipes that require heavy cream with evaporated skim milk or yogurt. For cakes and other desserts, substitute fresh-fruit puree as a topping instead of frosting. And one of my favorites: pancakes with applesauce, not maple syrup. These changes will give your favorite recipes great new flavor, and your food will be healthier!
