Grouse De Paulo Recipe

4 whole
1 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
2 tablespoons
1/2 cup
1/2 cup
1 tablespoon
1/2 cup
1 – 10.5 ounce can
1/4 teaspoon
2 cloves
2 tablespoon
grouse
salt
ground black pepper
butter
onion, chopped
celery, thin sliced
flour
red wine
chicken broth
ground cinnamon
garlic, whole
currant jelly

Temp: low
Recipe Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Pan Type: dutch oven


Grouse Directions

Clean the grouse and wipe dry with paper towels.
Sprinkle grouse with salt and pepper.
Melt the butter in a pan.
Add grouse and brown well on all sides.
Remove the grouse from pan.
Add the vegetables to pan and saute until tender.
Add flour to the pan, stir to blend well.
Stir in the wine, chicken broth, cinnamon and cloves.
Cook over low heat until De Paulo recipe mixture is thickened.
Return grouse to the pan.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer grouse recipe for the allotted time turning occasionally.
Transfer grouse to good looking serving platter.
Stir jelly into the sauce.
Pour sauce over your grouse.
Grouse De Paulo is a good recipe and goes good with rice.
